Ever since we posted the first video from the presentation Lord Christopher Monckton gave a week ago, we have been inundated with requests to have the video updated to include Lord Monckton’s slides.
We finally completed the updated video today.

Where might I purchase the video with slides that was shown at the Minnesota Free Market Institute? Is this the same information that is presented on Lord Monckton’s DVD Apocalypse No!?
I’ve made it half way through the video and find it most rewarding. I’ve known that there is another side and have had trouble finding digestible material presenting it.

How can I purchase the video of Lord Monckton’s presentation in St. Paul?
at 0:40:00 and on Lord Monckton claims “I too Al baby, am a nobel laureate”
This is all good and fine but when I search the Nobel site or any of the other sources on Nobel laureates they say Lord Monckton has never for any reason been presented with any kind of Nobel award.
Huh? What? If that’s true then this guy just got up in front of the entire world and lied about being a Nobel prize winner. To that’s serious enough to doubt every single thing he says in this video.
What kind of man would do that? Seriously!
And there’s just no way that most people will go and look this stuff up to see what exactly he’s lying about and what he’s not. There’s at least 50 major data search and acquisitions involved.
Other alternatives:
- He was removed from all lists by “someone”.
- My eyes and ears don’t work.
- He’s claiming the award out of protest for it’s meaninglessness.
- It’s an exceptionally poor joke delivery
- Other?
I’m just having trouble wrapping my head around it. I mean why would someone “Speak all over the world” on a topic he must care about and certainly has done some homework on, and then discredit himself so entirely by lying about such an important point? And why would the FMI invite him to speak if such were the case?
In fairness the prize was given half to Al Gore and 1/2 to [the IPCC, and the WMO, and UNEP]. If he’s in any one of these organizations or acted in an official capacity under them, then he might have a case in claiming the prize even if he did little or nothing.
But as the information susses out from even himself, all he did was unofficially call in a type-o like error after it was a document was published – something anyone could do.
Next is the question of his laureate pin. Where did he get it? This are not just handed out to anyone. Rumor has it (with images offered as evidence) that he and his friend forged a knock-off of the pin and acted out a little ceremony.
So, who is this guy?

Well, Tess, let’s assume that he did indeed err in a single statement and did not fully explain his meaning (I don’t know, but for the sake of argument, let’s just say it’s an error).
Is one misstatement reason to reject all of the other data (the media loves to do that – the whole erroneous ‘credibility’ paradigm – and to also toss out such Red herrings to distract from the factual truths).
Al Gore and our present and past leaders, not to mention UN officials, are pathological liars – and have lied to us hundreds, even thousands of times… forget the source – the source is irrelevant. The question is: “Is the INFORMATION objectively true, or not?” ‘Credible’ sources can lie to you – and ‘non-credible’ sources can provide accurate information – the whole ‘credibility’ issue is a false intellectual framework – check the facts for yourself.
The truth is what it is – whether or not we believe it.
As any good investigator knows:
“Something isn’t true just because we believe it. And just because we DON’T believe something – doesn’t mean it isn’t true.”
Americans – DO YOUR OWN THINKING – and stop letting the media think for you.

Lord Monckton as an IPCC contributer, shared in the Nobel prize along with the rest of the IPCC ‘team’.
Gore was ‘handed’ the prize, but as a representative of IPCC. in other words a team effort.
Monckton is being sarcastic of Gore and the IPCC in his claim !
Tess first: the Nobel “prize” has long been a meaningless political statement, and therefore of dubious merit, except for the monetary part. If pres. Obummer could get it for doing absolutely Nothing, then Monckton deserves it for his superb investigation of the so-called “global warming”
“facts” as presented by Gore, who would be torn to shreads during a debate between the two (which Gore avoids at all costs).
As to “global warming”, Tess is obviously ignorant of the facts, or so tied to an Agenda that she is unable or unwilling to assess the facts. The Agendists conveniently ignore the data by discarding it in favor of any data, however tenuous, that supports their “belief”.
They are well known to discard anything that doesn’t fit their curves. With them, it is a religion based on preconcieved prejudices, often related strongly to economic moires – they use it to make money, gain power, or temporary notoriety, or all three.
Note that many of the “warmers” were, just a few decades ago, “coolers”, they predicted ice buildup to inundate the earth was imminent. These same Agendists today predict the warmer earth will flood the lowlands with sea overflow,
causing mass destruction! I have, for two decades, followed the sea level personally and found there to be NO truth to their claims; sea level has risen about 3/4 inch in that time. Hardly ehough to account for the massive rise of volcanic islands around the world.
I, for one, agree with Monckton that the Warmers scare tactics are just that, and have absolutely no grounds for action of any sort. They are strictly political or, to be benevolent, so Agendisized that they would be pressed to locate their provobial proboscices in a dark room!
Monckton is correct, thus he is ostricized by the political left!

Don’t know how you folks at MN Free Market Inst were able to get both Lord Monckton and Dr Singer to come talk this last summer — both in one year is a real coup!
The only thing better would have been to add weeks of advance publicity for each.

About the Nobel reference. Al Gore shared the Nobel with the authors of the IPCC report that Monckton corrected. His Lordship was therefore a contributor to the report and deserves the prize as much as any and probably more than most.
As regards the Nobel reference, Monckton found an error in the IPCC report. He insisted thay change it and they did. Al and the report authors He contrbuted to the report, therefore and deserves the Nobel as a co-author.

At 47:55 the good lord discusses the Webster et al paper (available here btw: citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.173.348&rep=rep1&type=pdf) on the trend toward increasing hurricanes across the North Pacific, Indian, Southwest Pacific Ocean and the
the North Atlantic Oceans.
Of these the smallest increase was in the North atlantic, so why is this the only increase discussed by monckton?
